The museum’s collection continues to grow through new discoveries, shared memories, historical research, community contributions, and museum events. Here you’ll find stories from Maine’s paper-making past, updates from the museum, and opportunities to connect with others who share an interest in the industry’s history and heritage.
The history of Maine’s paper industry lives on through the memories of the people and communities it touched. A story passed down through a family, a photograph tucked away in an album, a memory of life in a paper town, or a firsthand experience at the mill can all help preserve a piece of that history.
If you have a story to tell, please fill out the form below. The museum would be honored to help preserve it!
